How To Clear RAM On iOS 13 And New iPhones Using Face ID
In this guide, I’ll show you how to clear RAM on iOS 13 or even the newer iPhone 11 Pro Max or iPhone 11’s. Any of the face ID phones, once they move to iOS 13 this process changed from the previous year.
This method basically saves you from hard rebooting your iPhone. So, when you hard reboot your phone you would normally hit volume up – volume down. Press and hold the power button until the phone completely reboots. Instead of doing that you can just dump the RAM or the memory in order to get things to reload.

STEP #1 – Go To Settings → ACCESSIBILITY
Once we’re in SETTINGS, scroll down until you find ACCESSIBILITY.
STEP #2 – Turn On Assistive Touch
Once you’ve found ACCESSIBILITY, Tap on TOUCH, and once you’re inside TOUCH, tap on ASSISTIVE TOUCH and Turn it ON.
ACCESSIBILITY → TOUCH → ASSISTIVE TOUCH → TURN ON ASSISTIVE TOUCH
STEP #3 – Get To The Power Screen
Once we turn on the Assistive Touch, this is very similar to how you would do it in the previous versions of the iOS but this time we need to get to the power screen but we need to do it in a specific way.
Push VOLUME UP then VOLUME DOWN and then press and hold the POWER BUTTON.
It will open the Slide to power off-screen.
STEP #4 – Tap On Assistive Touch
Once you’re at the Slide to Power-off screen, Tap on the Assistive touch then Press and hold home in Assistive touch and it will go to your passcode screen. And That’s it! This is how you will know it has cleared the RAM.
Put in your passcode and now if you go to App Store, it will actually reload. This is how you know it has actually cleared the RAM.
It will have to reload the last app you were in and then you’ll be good to go from there on out.
