iOS jailbreak has just been released. If you are not familiar with why you should jailbreak iPhone in 2019, I have an entire blog post dedicated to this subject.

In a nutshell, take over control of your iPhone back from Apple. No longer is it restricted, you can access the file system and as a result, you can modify and install tweaks.

Completely change the speed of your device, enable dark mode, just all-around complete customization. It’s definitely something to try.

Now, I’m going to run you through how to jailbreak iPhone, First off, you need to make sure your device is compatible. Your iPhone or iPad needs to be on iOS 12.0 to 12.1.2.

This latest jailbreak doesn’t yet support all devices. It doesn’t support the 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone XR, Xs or The iPhone Xs Max. Basically, any device with an Apple A7, A8, A12 or A12x processor is not supported. However, jailbreak for these devices should be out relatively soon. So just be patient.

Supported devices:

  • iPhone 6s
  • 6s Plus
  • iPhone 7
  • 7 Plus
  • iPhone SE
  • iPhone 8
  • 8 Plus
  • iPhone X

First things first, after the compatibility thing is settled. Go into your iPhone storage and make sure you have no downloaded OTA updates that are pending as they will quite literally brick your device. You need to delete it.
Navigate into your Settings > General Settings > iPhone Storage and make sure there are no over-the-air downloaded updates. If there are downloaded updates, delete them right away and restart your device before attempting to jailbreak iPhone or iPad.

  1. Download Latest unc0ver Jailbreak App

The first thing you need to do is download and install the unc0ver Jailbreak app on your device. You can download unc0ver Jailbreak app from this website

  2. Trust Certificate

After installing the app, go into Settings > General Settings > Device Management and click on Trust unc0ver Jailbreak. You won’t be able to start the app without this step.

  3. Jailbreak iPhone

Start the unc0ver Jailbreak app and go ahead and tap on Jailbreak. The app will start exploiting and your device will switch off and restart a couple of times but there’s nothing to worry about. By the end of it, you should see the Cydia icon on your home screen. That’s it, Cydia has been installed and you guys are jailbroken.
If in the first time if you don’t get Cydia then you got to do it again. Sometimes it may even take 3 – 4 tries to get it done but usually not more than three.

Also very important for you guys to know that not all sources in Cydia will work right away, there are some bugs. So, keep an eye out for updates on the unc0ver jailbreak app. When a new version comes out delete it and reinstall the new version doing the same method.
