Xiaomi Mi Play finally launched in China today, the company’s latest mid-range mobile phone in the new play series. As teased earlier it is the company’s first smartphone with water notch display. In the back, Xiaomi has used Corning Gorilla Glass with gradient finish to give it a premium look.

Xiaomi Mi Play Specifications
The smartphone sports a 5.84-inch 1080×2280 Full HD+ water notch display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 432 pixels density. Under the hood, it is powered by 2.3 GHz Mediatek’s Helio P35 Octa-Core Processor which is assumed to be equivalent of Qualcomm’s premium Snapdragon 600 processor.
Xiaomi Mi Play also sports a 12 MP (f/2.2) primary and 2 MP secondary Camera on the rear and 8 MP sensor for selfies at the front. It is a Dual Sim smartphone that accepts two nano SIM’s. For connectivity, the Xiaomi Mi Play has 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and USB Type-C. Moreover, it also has a rear-facing fingerprint scanner and 3000 mAh battery.
Xiaomi Mi Play Price
In the Chinese market, it is offered at 1099 yuan which roughly translates to 11,000 Indian rupees. The Smartphone comes in three colors Black, Dream Blue, and Twilight Gold along with a gradient finish.
In China, Mi Play will go on sale from 10 am on 25th December in Xiaomi’s offline store moreover, it will be bundled with 10 GB of data every month for a year.
